Hello my darlings!

It's show day for Springfield.. I'm a crazy mix of nervous excitement. It was a hellva drive from San Francisco to Springfield but we made it without any serious injury. The trauma and emotional scarring will eventually fade as well.

We lost Gregg's drummer somewhere along the way.. but a wonderful, talented drummer from Montreal flew in yesterday to replace him, thanks to the amazingness of The Hoof & The Heel. Yay Canada!

I have lots of pictures.. especially of people sleeping.. but posting those would probably be mean. However, that didn't stop Gregg Tillery from posting a picture on facebook.. of me uncomfortably wedged on the floor of the van, between my seat and the door, trying desperately to find a sleeping position that returned the least amount of pain. The picture is so hideous, his friend asked, "is that weave in a dumpster?"

Thank you Gregg. Don't worry -- I felt like a weave in a dumpster.

Delusions of Grand Tour is a classy affair.. and living the life is a rock star is super glamorous.. we have beautiful boys and girls clinging to our necks and ride in style.. eat the finest cuisine.. experience wonderful, cultured places.. like this Subway in Oklahoma.

This is what we do for you, people! We drive 30 hours and eat on sidewalks to make it to your city to play the best damn music you've ever heard and put on a show that'll rock your face off.

Seriously.

Peggy's been busy booking venues and we're excited that our kickoff show for the Delusions of Grand Tour is going to be at the Viper Room in West Hollywood. September 15th -- be there! We'll have more details to come and keep y'all updated.

We've also booked the Walnut Room in Denver, CO on September 20th. If you're in Denver, have visited Denver in the past, know people in Denver, know roughly where Denver is on a map.. we expect to see you there.

And just a note, the Springfield, MO show at Lindberg's has been moved to September 22nd.
